Sales Manager – Marketplace Launch in Algeria

About the role

Mzady Algeria is launching its marketplace in Algeria and seeks a proactive Sales Manager to lead vendor acquisition and market entry. This hands‑on role will be the first on‑ground employee, responsible for building relationships with local businesses and shaping the go‑to‑market strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, acquire and onboard vendors and businesses onto the Mzady platform.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with local business owners and decision‑makers.
• Support vendors through registration, product listing and platform adoption.
• Gather market insights, competitor intelligence and vendor feedback.
• Collaborate with product and regional teams to support the launch.
• Help shape and execute the local sales and go‑to‑market strategy.

Required profile

• Proven experience in sales, business development or account management.
• Strong understanding of the Algerian market and local business landscape.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship‑building abilities.
• Ability to work independently, take ownership and achieve targets.
• Experience in marketplace, e‑commerce or digital advertising is a plus.
