About the role
The Sales Representative will join Baker Hughes' Drill Bits team, promoting core‑bit products and associated services to customers in a defined geographic area. The role focuses on selling standardized drill‑bit solutions, supporting customers with technical advice, and driving revenue for the well‑construction segment.
Key responsibilities
- Sell core‑bit products, services, parts, and solutions within an assigned territory.
- Provide client advice on standardized products with predefined options.
- Contribute to pricing and contract negotiations within established frameworks.
- Collaborate with technical sales support to close deals.
- Manage medium‑sized orders and maintain relationships with diverse regional clients.
- Lead a department handling small‑to‑medium sized territory sales.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Geology.
- Minimum 5 years experience in well construction or related oilfield services.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Proven interpersonal, leadership, analytical and organizational abilities.
- Ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously and solve problems effectively.
