Senior Service Parts Specialist

About the role

The Senior Service Parts Specialist supports Solar Turbines’ global service parts business by managing complex order‑processing, shipping, and inventory activities. Based in New Orleans, you will act as a key point of contact for customers, distributors, and internal teams, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of parts and related services.

Key responsibilities

• Process customer direct shipments, warehouse transfers, returns, and overhaul requirements.
• Validate part numbers, pricing, and lead times for quotes and purchase orders.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and support domestic and international service parts needs.
• Collaborate with Finance, Treasury, Traffic, Legal, Planning, Purchasing, Field Service, and other internal departments.
• Interact with external partners such as Solar Distributors, Agents, and Freight Forwarders.
• Handle high‑complexity orders and provide guidance to peers on challenging cases.

Required profile

• Several years of experience in parts, shipping, or order administration within an industrial environment.
• Strong analytical abilities and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills for frequent customer and internal stakeholder interaction.
• Ability to work independently while following established policies and procedures.
