Strategy Consultant – AI Training & Evaluation (Freelance, Remote)

About the role

We are seeking experienced strategy consultants to help shape AI learning environments by translating real consulting engagements into structured tasks and evaluation frameworks. This freelance, remote position works with Toloka AI’s Mindrift platform to create realistic project scenarios for advanced language models.

Key responsibilities

• Design detailed consulting project scenarios that reflect industry context, financial data, constraints, and ambiguous information.
• Break down projects into discrete, AI‑compatible tasks such as market sizing, commercial due diligence, cost optimization, growth strategy, and operational diagnosis.
• Develop grading rubrics, evaluation criteria, and golden‑answer solutions for each task to train and calibrate LLM‑based assessment systems.
• Collaborate with the AI team to ensure the consulting content aligns with model training objectives.

Required profile

• 3+ years of hands‑on consulting experience at a top‑tier firm (McKinsey, BCG, Bain, Oliver Wyman, Roland Berger, Monitor Deloitte, EY‑Parthenon, Kearney, Strategy&).
• Proven ability to structure ambiguous client problems, build financial models or market analyses, and deliver client‑ready recommendations under tight deadlines.
• Comfort presenting and defending recommendations in uncertain environments.
