Technical Sales Advisor (Algeria)

About the role

As a Technical Sales Advisor for Trouw Nutrition in Algeria, you will combine technical expertise in animal nutrition with a commercial drive to grow the business. The position is home‑based with national travel, giving you autonomy to shape the future of poultry, dairy and aquaculture nutrition in the Algerian market.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and support sales of the full portfolio of feed additives and services across all animal species, focusing on poultry and dairy.
• Grow the aquaculture segment using the Skretting product range.
• Provide high‑quality technical and commercial support to distributors, integrators, mills and farmers.
• Organise and deliver seminars, trainings and farm visits.
• Gather deep insight into customer needs, competitor activity and market trends.
• Support existing customers while identifying and developing new business opportunities.
• Contribute to annual budgets, sales plans and forecasts.
• Manage orders end‑to‑end, including active credit control.
• Coordinate technical, marketing, administrative and sales support activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, DVM or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in animal health or animal nutrition, preferably in a commercial role.
• Existing network in the Algerian poultry market (strongly preferred).
• Strong sales, technical and communication abilities.
• Fluency in English, French and Arabic.
• Ability to work autonomously and manage priorities independently.
