Volunteer Coordinator – Part‑time Remote

About the role

The University of Boumerdes is seeking a part‑time remote Volunteer Coordinator to lead and support volunteer activities linked to university and community initiatives. This position offers the opportunity to work from anywhere while contributing to educational and social development.

Key responsibilities

• Recruit, onboard and train volunteers for various projects.
• Schedule, monitor and evaluate volunteer assignments.
• Maintain accurate volunteer records and prepare basic participation reports.
• Communicate regularly with volunteers and university staff to align activities with program goals.
• Assist in promoting volunteer opportunities and improving engagement and retention processes.
• Collaborate on community outreach efforts and support related events.

Required profile

• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks remotely.
• Experience or interest in community outreach and relationship‑building.
• Previous experience in education, nonprofit or community programs is an asset.
• Relevant post‑secondary education or training in social sciences, education or a related field is preferred.
