Year 3 Science & Maths Teacher, Immediate Start

About the role

The Year 3 Science & Maths Teacher will join Little Kingdom School in Algiers on a full‑time, on‑site basis. The role involves planning and delivering engaging Mathematics and Science lessons for Year 3 learners, aligned with both Algerian and British curricula.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver lesson plans that meet curriculum standards.
• Teach classes, assess learner progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Maintain accurate records of student achievement.
• Create a safe, inclusive and differentiated classroom environment.
• Collaborate with colleagues and school leadership on whole‑school initiatives.
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians.
• Participate in staff meetings and contribute to co‑curricular activities.
• Support ongoing curriculum development.

Required profile

• Strong subject knowledge in Mathematics and Science for primary learners.
• Recognized teaching qualification and experience as a qualified teacher in primary or lower secondary education.
• Proficiency in lesson planning and curriculum development within Algerian and/or British frameworks.
• Effective classroom management and commitment to an inclusive learning environment.
• Fluency in English; proficiency in French or Arabic is an advantage.
• Experience in an international or bilingual school setting is beneficial.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and reflective practice.
