Chief Financial Officer (CFO) – Strategic Industrial Project

About the role

The company is a leading international industrial group launching a greenfield project in Algeria. It seeks an experienced, commercially‑driven Chief Financial Officer to shape the financial foundation of this large‑scale industrial venture from the ground up.

Key responsibilities

• Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and cash‑flow management for the project.
• Design and manage project‑finance structures, funding strategies and lender relationships.
• Oversee treasury operations, liquidity planning, debt servicing and covenant compliance.
• Establish financial controls, cost‑governance frameworks and monitor CAPEX and OPEX against milestones.
• Negotiate and evaluate major contracts, supplier and vendor agreements.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations, taxation, statutory reporting and audit readiness.
• Manage insurance, financial exposure and operational risk frameworks.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in project finance, structured lending and large‑scale industrial projects.
• Strong background in manufacturing, automotive, infrastructure or similar project‑based industries.
• Proven ability to operate in emerging markets and fast‑paced, high‑growth environments.
