EHS Specialist

About the role

The Site EHS Specialist will lead the implementation and monitoring of Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) policies for FieldCore’s field operations in Algeria. You will ensure that all personnel comply with local legislation, company standards, and industry regulations while fostering a "No Harm" safety culture.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and communicate the OneEHS project plan across the site.
• Conduct regular EHS audits, inspections, and root‑cause analyses of near‑misses and incidents.
• Ensure compliance with OHSA, EPA, DOT, and local Algerian regulations.
• Coordinate emergency response preparedness and training.
• Deliver site‑specific orientation and safety training for all FieldCore staff and contractors.
• Provide recommendations to improve EHS performance and reduce risk.

Required profile

• 6‑10 years of experience in EHS roles within the energy or industrial sector.
• Strong knowledge of Algerian environmental, health, and safety legislation.
• Proven ability to lead audits, investigations, and corrective actions.
• Excellent communication skills to influence site personnel and management.
