Embedded Systems & IoT Engineer

About the role

We are looking for an Embedded Systems & IoT Engineer to join BASSEER’s technology team in Algeria. The role involves designing, developing and deploying embedded and Internet‑of‑Things solutions for a variety of applications, ensuring reliability and real‑time performance.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement firmware for microcontrollers such as STM32, ESP32 and Arduino.
• Integrate sensors, actuators and communication modules using protocols like MQTT, HTTP, BLE, Zigbee and LoRaWAN.
• Develop PCB layouts, perform circuit debugging and validate hardware prototypes.
• Establish wireless links and cloud connectivity with platforms such as AWS IoT or Azure IoT Hub.
• Maintain Linux‑based development environments, write Bash and Python scripts for automation.
• Manage source code using Git (GitHub or GitLab) and follow version‑control best practices.

Required profile

• Strong critical‑thinking abilities and a passion for embedded technology.
• Proven experience with embedded C/C++ development on microcontrollers.
• Hands‑on knowledge of IoT communication protocols and cloud services.
• Familiarity with PCB design tools and hardware debugging.
• Comfortable working in Linux environments and using scripting languages.
