Human Resources Director – Manufacturing (Bilingual English/French)

About the role

We are looking for a bilingual English‑French HR Director to lead all human‑resources functions within a dynamic manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will shape HR strategy, ensure regulatory compliance, and support the workforce from recruitment through performance management.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement HR policies and procedures tailored to manufacturing operations while ensuring compliance with labour laws and safety regulations.
• Lead recruitment for factory labour positions, manage sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding processes.
• Administer employee benefits programs specific to the manufacturing sector and maintain regulatory compliance.
• Oversee performance‑management systems for factory workers, including goal setting, evaluations, and improvement plans.
• Handle employee‑relations matters such as conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and investigations.
• Provide guidance to supervisors and employees on HR issues, safety protocols, and compliance requirements.
• Maintain accurate HR records, ensuring confidentiality and data security.
• Stay current on industry trends and best practices in manufacturing HR management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• Proven experience as an HR Manager in a manufacturing environment, managing factory labour.
• Fluent in English and French; Arabic is a plus.
• Thorough knowledge of labour laws, safety regulations, and industry standards applicable to manufacturing.
• Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal abilities.
• HR certification (e.g., SHRM‑CP, PHR) is a plus.
