Internal Auditor

About the role

The Internal Auditor will lead audit missions within the banking and financial environment, ensuring that internal controls are effective and that the organization complies with all relevant regulations and policies. This role reports directly to the Head of Internal Audit and contributes to the continuous improvement of operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute audit missions according to the established schedule.
• Prepare comprehensive end‑of‑mission reports and present findings to the Head of Internal Audit.
• Participate in all phases of audit engagements, including opening and closing meetings.
• Review and assess the internal control system, ensuring reliability and completeness of information.
• Verify compliance with policies, procedures, laws, and regulations.
• Protect assets and promote the efficient use of resources.
• Monitor achievement of operational objectives and follow up on prior recommendations.
• Manage one‑off audit missions when required.
• Collect and update technical documentation of the audited structures.

Required profile

• University degree from a recognized institution.
• 3‑4 years of experience in banking or finance, with at least 3 years dedicated to internal audit.
• Advanced proficiency in Arabic, French, and English.
