Plant Director

About the role

Knauf Algeria is seeking a Plant Director to lead its manufacturing site in Oran. The role combines full responsibility for safety performance with oversight of all production, maintenance, quality, and supply‑chain activities. You will drive operational excellence in a fast‑growing construction‑materials environment.

Key responsibilities

• Take full accountability for plant Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) performance and embed a zero‑incident culture.
• Oversee daily manufacturing operations, ensuring production targets, quality standards and regulatory compliance are met.
• Manage production planning, maintenance scheduling, quality control processes and supply‑chain coordination.
• Lead and develop plant teams, fostering a safety‑first mindset and continuous improvement.
• Ensure alignment with Knauf Group standards and local regulations.
