Sales Director – MENA

About the role

EnerVenue, a fast‑growing clean‑energy storage company, is looking for a seasoned Sales Director to launch and lead its commercial activities across the Middle East and North Africa. Reporting to senior leadership, you will design the go‑to‑market strategy, build the sales pipeline and close high‑value contracts for our stationary storage solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the sales strategy for the MENA region, aligning with company growth targets.
• Identify, qualify and nurture new business opportunities through outbound prospecting, inbound leads and networking.
• Manage the full sales cycle – from proposal and negotiation to contract signing and hand‑over to delivery teams.
• Maintain weekly pipeline reports and documentation in Salesforce.com.
• Develop and sustain strong relationships with utilities, EPCs, developers and other key stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Finance, Manufacturing and Deployment teams to ensure seamless customer experience.
• Stay up‑to‑date on industry trends, competitor offerings and market conditions.

Required profile

• Several years of experience in the clean‑energy ecosystem (IPPs, integrators, EPCs, utilities) within the Middle East.
• At least five years in a start‑up or high‑growth environment focused on renewable energy, energy storage or related technologies.
• Proven track record of building sales pipelines and achieving quarterly/annual revenue targets.
• Strong negotiation skills with the ability to close complex contracts.
