Senior Logistics Specialist

About the role

Halliburton is seeking a Senior Logistics Specialist to manage end‑to‑end logistics operations for its energy‑sector activities in Algeria. You will plan, optimize, and execute domestic and international shipments while ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and implement the complete logistics cycle, coordinating with freight forwarders and service providers.
• Optimize transportation routes across air, ocean, and land modes to achieve cost‑effective and reliable delivery.
• Handle shipments with special constraints, including hazardous cargo, and ensure all documentation meets local and international law.
• Collaborate with logistics partners to develop creative solutions that meet delivery timelines.
• Forecast capacity needs and calculate Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) to support routing decisions.

Required profile

• Undergraduate degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Information Systems, Engineering or equivalent.
• 2‑3 years of logistics experience with at least two transportation modes (air, ocean, land).
• Knowledge of hazardous material movements is preferred.
• IATA/IMDG certification may be required depending on scope.
