Senior Node.js Backend Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Node.js Backend Engineer to join our remote team and help build the core of our AI‑driven SaaS platform for visitor attractions. You will work on high‑impact features, improve system scalability, and ensure the reliability of our backend services.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Node.js and Nest.js.
• Implement and manage message‑queue solutions such as AWS SNS/SQS or RabbitMQ.
• Containerize applications with Docker and orchestrate deployments.
• Build and maintain RESTful and RPC‑based APIs.
• Write comprehensive unit and integration tests with Jest, Mocha, Sinon, and Chai.
• Monitor system health, performance, and data integrity, applying security best practices.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of production experience shipping Node.js code.
• At least 4 years working with message‑queue technologies.
• Strong understanding of large‑scale Node.js application challenges.
• Fluent English communication skills.
