Africa Finance Business Partner – Immunology & Rare Disease

About the role

Sanofi is seeking a Finance Business Partner for the Immunology and Rare Disease business units across Africa. The role provides financial leadership, drives performance management and supports strategic decision‑making to ensure sustainable growth of the portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with business heads to create value, challenge the status quo and improve efficiency, including new go‑to‑market and digital models.
• Develop robust business cases with scenario modelling, ROI analysis and risk assessment to guide resource allocation.
• Support launch excellence for new products and indications within the specialty‑care portfolio.
• Provide financial insights for Dupixent and other immunology franchise products and analyse profitability of the specialty‑care portfolio.
• Collaborate with Medical Affairs to optimise investment in medical education and patient‑support programmes from a financial perspective.
• Identify financial risks and opportunities, propose corrective actions and re‑allocate resources dynamically.
• Ensure consistency of macro‑economic assumptions in planning, budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Define, implement and manage controlling processes within the assigned region.

Required profile

• Strategic finance background with experience in business partnership within the pharma or healthcare sector.
• Strong analytical mindset and ability to influence senior stakeholders.
• Proven track record of developing business cases and supporting product launches.
• Understanding of immunology and rare‑disease portfolios and related market dynamics.
• Commitment to compliance with internal control practices.
