Application Support Engineer – Warehouse Automation (Visa Sponsorship)

About the role

Our client, a leading industrial technology and engineering firm specializing in warehouse automation and digital supply‑chain solutions, is seeking an Application Support Engineer to maintain and support Warehouse Control Systems (WCS) in production environments. The role blends technical support, incident management, and direct customer interaction to ensure mission‑critical logistics platforms run smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for customers requiring application support.
• Manage support tickets and meet SLA commitments.
• Investigate, diagnose, and resolve software and system incidents.
• Perform remote troubleshooting and, when necessary, coordinate on‑site interventions.
• Implement corrective actions, temporary work‑arounds, and preventive maintenance.
• Collaborate with development and technical teams on complex issues.
• Maintain accurate documentation of incidents, resolutions, and knowledge‑base articles.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in application support, software maintenance, or technical support.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
• Proficiency in C#, C++ or other object‑oriented programming environments.
• Experience troubleshooting Windows‑based applications in production.
• Fluent French (written and spoken) and a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems or a related field.
