Commercial Financial Project Manager

About the role

Siemens Energy is looking for a Commercial Financial Project Manager in Algeria. You will handle the local financial and commercial execution of long-term maintenance and ad-hoc contracts for large gas turbines, working closely with the Project Manager. The role focuses on cost control, reporting, risk, claims and cash management, and involves direct contact with the customer and internal departments such as supply chain, insurance, tax, legal and logistics.

Key responsibilities

• Keep books and records accurate, support monthly closing and record entries in systems such as SAP and Project Dash, in line with Siemens Energy-FRG and local IFRS rules
• Carry out project reporting and controlling activities
• Help the Project Manager manage financial results against targets, optimising gross profit, cash flow and assets and financing instruments
• Support commercial sales for local services and local shares for complex LTPs and fleet management contracts
• Gather and consolidate budget data, monitor actual versus plan comparisons and follow up on budget, forecast and KPI reporting
• Perform risk and claim management, ad-hoc profitability analyses and prepare commercial offers for customers

Required profile

• Bachelor's or master's degree in business, finance or a related field
• 3-5 years of proven financial project management experience
• Knowledge of IFRS and Algerian accounting regulations
• French and English bilingualism
• Ability to build and work with cross-functional and international teams

Required skills

• Proficiency in Excel; ERP experience, ideally SAP
• Analysis ability, accuracy and good communication with internal and external stakeholders
• Export Control Classification (ECC) and Non-Conformity Management (NCM)
