Commercial Strategy & Planning Senior Specialist

About the role

A Commercial Strategy & Planning Senior Specialist is sought to join a team in Algiers, Algeria. The role combines strategic planning, reporting and data-driven insights to support commercial operations, channel segmentation and territory coverage.

Key responsibilities

• Identify business needs and work with the Commercial Team to deliver strategic recommendations through impactful presentations
• Support strategic planning with statistical analysis and prioritization of commercial plans, including input into 3-Year Plans
• Lead monthly and bi-weekly reporting covering all commercial KPIs
• Develop quarterly trade segmentation across channels and territories
• Translate market data into actionable insights to improve forecasting and decision-making
• Support prioritization of high-value channels, territories and segments based on growth potential and ROI
• Develop and support launch strategies for NPLs and LPEs from a 360-degree view
• Partner with Marketing to plan visibility campaigns and define target audiences
• Help business units execute efficiently and allocate resources to cover assigned territories
• Coordinate technically with the external development and maintenance agency for commercial reporting platforms
• Partner with the Data & Analytics team to review reporting and provide performance insights
• Deliver technical support in internal and external presentations while complying with company policies, trading codes and local legislation

Required profile

• Graduate in Business, Economics, Data Analytics, Marketing or a related field
• 3+ years of proven experience in commercial intelligence, data analytics or strategic planning
• Fluency in spoken and written English and French

• Proficiency in reporting tools such as Excel, Power BI and Tableau
