COMPTABLE SENIOR / Chef Comptable

About the role

The Senior Accountant / Chief Accountant will lead the finance and accounting department, ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance, and effective cash management. This position is responsible for supervising daily accounting operations and supporting strategic financial decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Perform bank reconciliations and daily cash‑flow monitoring.
• Prepare month‑end and year‑end closing entries, journal entries, and related reconciliations.
• Produce monthly financial reports for the group finance team.
• Manage intercompany, AR, and AP reconciliations.
• Handle VAT, WHT, tax returns and other statutory requirements.
• Oversee stock reconciliations and assist with physical inventory counts.
• Issue payments, invoices, and credit notes.
• Support implementation of IT solutions and ad‑hoc projects.

Required profile

• Degree in finance, accounting or a related field (Master 1, Licence, Bac+4).
• 5 + years of experience in finance/accounting, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong attention to detail and technical mindset.
• Proficiency in English.
