Comptable Senior / Chef Comptable

About the role

The Senior Accountant / Chief Accountant will lead the finance and accounting function for our manufacturing operations in Cheraga. The role ensures accurate financial reporting, compliance with local regulations, and effective cash management.

Key responsibilities

• Perform bank reconciliations and daily cash‑flow monitoring.
• Prepare month‑end and year‑end closing entries, journal entries and related reconciliations.
• Produce monthly financial reports for the group finance team.
• Post provisions, accruals and inter‑company reconciliations.
• Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable, including invoice and credit‑note processing.
• Conduct monthly stock reconciliations and support physical stock‑takes.
• Ensure compliance with statutory requirements such as VAT, WHT and tax returns, including VAT reconciliation.
• Assist in the implementation of ERP and other IT solutions.
• Provide ad‑hoc project support and undertake any additional duties as required.

Required profile

• Degree in accounting, finance or a related field (Licence or Master level).
• 5 + years of experience in finance/accounting within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong attention to detail and a technical mindset.
• Fluent in English.
