EBC Coordinator – Sales & Marketing

About the role

We are looking for an EBC Coordinator to support the Sales & Marketing team at our Marriott hotel in Algiers. The role involves handling office tasks, preparing sales documents and acting as a point of contact for clients, ensuring smooth sales operations and a strong brand presence.

Key responsibilities

• Perform general office duties such as filing, emailing, typing, faxing and copying to support the Sales & Marketing department.
• Prepare and manage sales‑related documents including proposals, contracts and banquet event orders.
• Assemble promotional material packages and maintain brand awareness internally and externally.
• Enter, retrieve, reconcile and verify sales data (commissions, leads, third‑party information) in the relevant software systems.
• Respond to guest inquiries about property facilities, rates, packages and events via phone and email.
• Serve as the primary contact for clients, addressing questions and requests promptly.
• Adhere to company policies, maintain professional appearance and protect confidential information.
• Support team goals, foster positive working relationships and comply with quality standards.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Minimum of one year of experience in a sales support or administrative role.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to lift and move objects up to 10 lb without assistance.
• No supervisory experience required.
