Emerging Talent Lead – Field Engineer (Algeria)

About the role

Join Baker Hughes' Emerging Talent Program as a Lead Field Engineer in Algeria. This 36‑month graduate program offers hands‑on experience supporting clients in locating and producing energy more efficiently while working directly on rig sites.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate crew members to deploy tools and services, acting as liaison with customers and shore‑based Operations Managers.
• Assist in solving complex technical problems through on‑site work at rig locations.
• Prepare, document, and manage inbound and outbound equipment and products for well sites.
• Support tender processes with data analysis, cost estimates, and invoicing activities.
• Participate in job‑shadowing to gain a holistic understanding of the business.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Mathematics, Chemistry, Geosciences, or a related field obtained within the last 36 months.
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.75/4.0 (or equivalent).
• Fluent written and spoken English with strong communication skills.
• Legal right to work in Algeria without sponsorship.
• Strong interpersonal abilities, teamwork orientation, and capacity to guide others.
• Demonstrated leadership, critical thinking, numerical aptitude, data‑analysis, and project‑management capabilities.
