Field Service Engineer I – Algeria

About the role

Hydratight, a specialist within Enerpac Tool Group, is seeking a Field Service Engineer I to support project execution across Algeria. The role involves delivering technical support at customer sites, coordinating field activities, and ensuring projects meet safety, quality, and contractual requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Provide on‑site technical and engineering support for field service projects.
• Coordinate and prioritize field activities according to project schedules.
• Monitor project progress, maintain documentation, and prepare service reports.
• Liaise with clients, design teams, and third‑party contractors to resolve technical issues.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, scope, budget, and schedule requirements.

Required profile

• Degree or technical qualification in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Experience as a Field Service Engineer, Service Engineer, Site Engineer or similar role.
• Background in oil & gas, petrochemical, energy or heavy industry is preferred.
• Ability to work independently, under pressure and travel across Algeria.
• Good English communication skills; French or Arabic is an advantage.

• Mechanical engineering knowledge.
• Hydraulics systems understanding.
• Interpretation of technical drawings and specifications.
• Familiarity with industrial equipment and field‑service operations.
