Field Service Representative – Centrifugal Compressor

About the role

As a Field Service Representative for centrifugal compressors, you will act as Siemens Energy’s technical liaison at customer sites, delivering on‑site support for gas compression equipment and associated packages. You will work independently to perform preventive and corrective maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, commissioning and major interventions while ensuring safety and compliance with company and OEM standards.

Key responsibilities

• Execute preventive and corrective maintenance on centrifugal gas compressors and related equipment.
• Provide on‑site inspection, call‑out, troubleshooting, and commissioning support for both onshore and offshore installations.
• Monitor equipment performance, detect abnormal sounds, vibrations or safety risks, and take timely corrective actions.
• Coordinate planning of personnel, materials and resources for routine maintenance and major interventions.
• Ensure compliance with Siemens Energy procedures, OEM recommendations, contractual obligations and HSE policies.
• Prepare accurate technical reports and maintain documentation such as drawings, manuals and procedures.

Required profile

• Proven experience in field service or maintenance of rotating equipment, preferably centrifugal compressors.
• Ability to work autonomously in on‑site environments, including offshore locations.
• Strong analytical skills to diagnose technical problems and implement effective solutions.
• Good understanding of health, safety and environmental regulations and work‑permit systems.
