Finance & Treasury Controller

About the role

We are seeking a highly organized Finance & Treasury Controller to manage cash flow, invoicing and collections for our Algeria office while acting as the main finance liaison with our UK Group Finance team and external banking partners.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and issue accurate customer invoices on schedule.
• Monitor customer accounts, ensure timely collections and follow up on overdue receivables.
• Support daily treasury operations and monitor cash inflows.
• Serve as the primary contact for banking partners, handling account administration, transfers and compliance requests.
• Liaise between the Algeria office and the Group Finance Department in the United Kingdom, providing regular reports.
• Coordinate with the local accounting firm by supplying required financial data and documentation.
• Assist with month‑end closing activities and financial reporting.
• Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with internal policies and local regulations.
• Identify and support continuous improvements in finance and treasury processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in finance, treasury, accounting or accounts receivable.
• Proven experience in customer invoicing, collections and cash management.
• Experience interacting with banks and external accounting firms is highly desirable.
• Strong organizational, analytical and communication skills in English; French or Arabic is a plus.
• High level of integrity, confidentiality and a proactive, solution‑oriented attitude.
