Freelance Claims Processing Agent – AI Trainer

About the role

We are looking for experienced insurance‑claims professionals to join a project‑based AI training initiative. As a Freelance Claims Processing Agent you will help evaluate and improve AI systems that automate auto‑insurance claim decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Assess AI‑generated auto‑insurance claim outcomes for accuracy, coverage correctness, and regulatory compliance.
• Create first‑notice‑of‑loss (FNOL) test scenarios that include contradictions, decoy files, and outdated documents to challenge AI robustness.
• Develop and grade fraud‑flagging cases using structured reason codes such as late reporting or inconsistent damage.
• Design subrogation test cases that apply state‑specific negligence rules and estimate recovery likelihood.
• Document each test case with clear correct answers, policy citations, and payout calculations.

Required profile

• Degree in Insurance, Risk Management, Business Administration, Finance, Law or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in insurance claims, adjusting, legal services or financial services.
• Recent hands‑on experience in claims adjusting or a closely related role.
• Familiarity with auto‑insurance coverage decisions, state negligence rules and adjuster authority limits.
• Strong written English (C1 level or higher); professional certifications (AIC, CPCU, CIFI, SCLA) are a plus.
