Full‑time Housekeeper

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to join our Support Services Team at St. Vincent’s Hospice. In this full‑time position you will help maintain a safe, clean and welcoming environment for patients, families and staff, contributing directly to the high standards of care we provide.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out cleaning duties across clinical and non‑clinical areas.
• Support infection prevention and control standards.
• Assist with laundry and waste management processes.
• Maintain housekeeping equipment and supplies.
• Help create a welcoming environment for patients, families, visitors and colleagues.
• Work collaboratively with teams across the hospice.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a housekeeping, cleaning or domestic role.
• Strong attention to detail and pride in delivering high standards.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable, organised and professional attitude.
• Compassionate, respectful and understanding towards others.
• Alignment with the values of St. Vincent’s Hospice.
