Head of Sales - Marine & Protective Coatings

About the role

Jotun Algeria is looking for a Head of Sales to lead its Marine and Protective business segments in the country. Based in Algiers and reporting directly to the General Manager, you will define and execute customer-focused growth strategies, strengthen customer relationships, identify new business opportunities and implement strategic sales initiatives. You will join the Management Team.

Key responsibilities

• Take part in the Local Management Team, helping to discuss, influence and decide on company strategy.
• Lead, develop and support staff, setting ambitions for personal, professional and career development in line with the company's spirit.
• Organize, delegate and distribute responsibilities and authority using Jotun performance tools to run focused, efficient and cost-effective operations.
• Monitor the business operations of the assigned segments through regular contact with reporting managers and management teams.
• Build and lead the Sales organization by hiring, coaching and retaining employees, and running skills and competence development programs.
• Maintain a strong payment collection mechanism and manage other functions such as marketing, technical support service and customer service.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• 6 to 8 years of experience in sales management.
• Flexibility to travel within the country as required.
• Fluency in English and French is a must.
