Human Resources Manager

About the role

CTCO is looking for a full‑time Human Resources Manager to join its Algiers office. The successful candidate will lead the HR function, ensuring recruitment, employee development and compliance align with the company’s strategic goals in the oil, energy and construction sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end recruitment, onboarding and talent acquisition processes.
• Develop, implement and monitor HR policies and procedures in line with local labor laws.
• Oversee employee development programmes, performance management and workforce planning.
• Ensure legal compliance in all employment practices and maintain up‑to‑date documentation.
• Act as a liaison between management and staff, addressing workplace concerns and fostering a positive, fair environment.
• Provide insights to senior leadership on workforce trends and strategic HR initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field.
• Proven experience in recruitment, onboarding and talent acquisition.
• Strong knowledge of HR policies, labor legislation and compliance requirements.
• Experience in employee relations, conflict resolution and workforce management.
• Excellent leadership, interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Fluency in Arabic and French; English proficiency is a plus.
• Prior experience in the oil & energy or industrial engineering sectors is advantageous.
