Junior Control Field Specialist

About the role

Join Baker Hughes' Field Engineering team as a Junior Control Field Specialist. After completing an intensive training program, you will support the on‑site installation, maintenance, and commissioning of our industry‑leading energy products for global customers.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical direction to internal teams and skilled labor, ensuring safety, compliance, and quality.
• Oversee overhaul, troubleshooting, and commissioning of rotating equipment at customer sites.
• Prepare and update technical documentation, plans, and briefing reports for customers and cross‑functional teams.
• Maintain internal training, compliance, and quality documentation according to company standards.
• Manage digital tools for retrieving technical documents, packing lists, bills of material, and drawings.

Required profile

• 0‑3 years of experience in a control/instrumentation role within an energy or oil‑and‑gas environment.
• Electronic, electro‑mechanic, or engineering degree.
• Basic knowledge of installation and maintenance of rotating equipment.
• Strong customer‑service orientation and ability to guide customers through technical decisions.
• Excellent verbal and written English and a valid passport.
• Willingness to travel up to 70% of the time, including offshore assignments.
