Junior Media Relations Coordinator

About the role

NTU International is seeking a Junior Media Relations Coordinator to support the Communication outreach and engagement project on EU policies across North Africa, the Middle East and the Gulf. The role will provide strategic, technical and logistical assistance to DG MENA’s communication activities, helping to raise the visibility and impact of EU initiatives in the region.

Key responsibilities

• Support planning and coordination of press activities, including trips, briefings and conferences.
• Liaise with journalists, media outlets and communication partners.
• Assist in preparing and distributing press releases, media advisories and press packs.
• Maintain and update media contact databases and distribution lists.
• Coordinate media logistics and accreditation for events.
• Monitor media coverage and help prepare press reviews and reports.
• Provide administrative and logistical support for media relations initiatives.

Required profile

• Degree (or equivalent) in journalism, communication or media studies.
• Fluent English; French and/or Arabic are assets.
• Minimum 2 years of general experience in media or press relations.
• At least 1 year of specific experience coordinating press activities.
• Strong organisational and liaison skills.
