Logistics Specialist – Local Operations

About the role

We are looking for a Logistics Specialist to join the Atlas Copco Algeria Customer Center. Reporting to the Logistics Manager, you will ensure smooth logistics operations, manage orders, flows and product availability while complying with Atlas Copco standards and local regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate daily with sales, finance, warehouse and service teams to align logistics activities with business needs.
• Liaise with logistics service providers, freight forwarders, carriers and customs officials to guarantee timely shipments and regulatory compliance.
• Oversee the full order lifecycle in the SAP system, from entry to invoicing, and monitor stock levels to avoid shortages or excesses.
• Prepare, verify and maintain all required logistics and customs documentation, ensuring accuracy and adherence to local and international rules.
• Monitor goods in transit, resolve delivery delays, stock inconsistencies or customs issues promptly to maintain service quality.

Required profile

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, International Business or a related field.
• Two to three years of professional experience in logistics or supply‑chain roles.

Required skills

• Proficiency in SAP for order and inventory management.
