Maintenance Technician (Guest Services)

About the role

We are looking for a Maintenance Technician to respond to guest repair requests and ensure the smooth operation of our hotel facilities in Algiers. The role involves preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and minor repairs across a wide range of systems.

Key responsibilities

• Attend to guest repair requests and communicate solutions.
• Perform preventive maintenance on tools, kitchen equipment, and mechanical room assets.
• Inspect, clean, lubricate, and test air‑conditioning, refrigeration, electrical, plumbing, and pneumatic systems.
• Carry out minor carpentry, painting, drywall, and wood‑trim repairs.
• Replace light bulbs, A/C filters, electrical switches, outlets, and other guestroom items.
• Program televisions, manage housekeeping and engineering inventory, and use lockout/tagout procedures before work.
• Maintain landscaping and sprinkler systems.
• Document daily activities and hand over information to the next shift.

Required profile

• Ability to follow safety, security, and company policies.
• Good communication skills with guests and team members.
• Physical capability to lift, carry, push or pull objects up to 50 lb.
• Professional appearance and confidentiality of company information.
