Mechanical Technician II – Preventive & Predictive Maintenance

About the role

Halliburton is seeking a Mechanical Technician II to join its maintenance team at the Hassi Messaoud site in Algeria. You will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and readiness of a wide range of mechanical equipment through preventive and predictive maintenance activities.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance and repair on assigned mechanical equipment.
• Conduct diagnostic and troubleshooting procedures to identify equipment issues.
• Execute advanced function testing to verify equipment readiness after maintenance.
• Interpret mechanical schematics, drawings, and prints to guide repair work.
• Identify parts, search system inventories, and procure spares accurately.
• Enter and maintain accurate data in Halliburton’s Management System (HMS).
• Follow detailed work processes defined by the Halliburton Management System.
• Mentor junior staff as directed and ensure safe, efficient work practices.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in mechanical maintenance or related fields.
• Technical school certificate preferred.
