NestJS Backend Developer – On-site in Algiers

About the role

We are seeking an experienced NestJS Backend Developer to join our on‑site team in Algiers. You will help build and maintain a modern, scalable digital platform that serves a large user base.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop backend services using NestJS and TypeScript.
• Contribute to a modular monolithic architecture focused on scalability and maintainability.
• Implement authentication, authorization, and user management modules.
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs, integrating with external services and payment operators (OTP, Flexy, SATIM).
• Work with PostgreSQL for data storage and Redis for caching and performance optimization.
• Ensure backend security, reliability, and high performance.
• Collaborate closely with web and mobile developers, participate in code reviews, testing, debugging, and documentation.

Required profile

• Professional experience with NestJS and TypeScript.
• Strong knowledge of Node.js and REST API design.
• Hands‑on experience with PostgreSQL and Redis.
• Familiarity with OAuth 2.0 / JWT and implementing authentication/authorization systems.
• Experience integrating third‑party APIs and services.
• Good understanding of backend security and performance optimization.
• Proficiency with Git and modern development workflows.
