OT Cybersecurity Engineer – Oil & Gas (Mid‑East)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced OT Cybersecurity Engineer to join a leading oil & gas organization operating in the Middle East. The role focuses on protecting industrial control systems and OT networks against cyber threats while supporting critical infrastructure projects.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct OT security assessments and risk analyses for industrial environments.
• Design, implement, and manage secure OT/ICS architectures.
• Execute project phases from engineering to lifecycle management.
• Troubleshoot security incidents and lead incident recovery efforts.
• Coordinate with stakeholders and contractors to ensure compliance with security standards.

Required profile

• 8–15+ years of hands‑on experience in OT/ICS cybersecurity, preferably in oil & gas, LNG, energy, or critical infrastructure.
• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Automation & Control Systems, or a related discipline.
• Strong knowledge of OT cybersecurity standards, governance, risk management, and secure architecture.
• Excellent problem‑solving, stakeholder coordination, and communication skills.
• Relevant OT/ICS cybersecurity certifications are a plus for senior/specialist positions.
