Project Engineer

About the role

The Project Engineer will lead planning, coordination and monitoring of all engineering and construction activities at our project site in Adrar, Algeria. You will ensure that the project meets specifications, quality standards, budget and schedule while complying with health, safety and environmental regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate daily site activities, supervise construction teams and maintain progress against detailed work schedules.
• Review drawings, specifications and contract requirements; ensure execution follows approved plans.
• Manage technical submittals, shop drawings, method statements and material approvals; resolve engineering issues on‑site.
• Monitor site quality, conduct inspections and enforce corrective actions.
• Implement HSE policies, participate in safety meetings and report incidents.
• Coordinate inspections, testing and quality documentation; close non‑conformance reports.
• Prepare regular progress reports, maintain project records and update KPIs for management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
• 5–8 years of experience in construction or project engineering, preferably in infrastructure, industrial facilities or remote‑site projects.
• Previous experience in Algeria, North Africa or desert environments is an advantage.
• Professional certification such as PMP is a plus.
