Project Procurement Manager

About the role

The Project Procurement Manager will own end‑to‑end procurement delivery for assigned projects, guiding the process from the bid phase through execution and close‑out. You will work closely with project, engineering, finance and legal teams to ensure materials and services are supplied on time, within budget and to required quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead procurement activities for projects from bid to close‑out, aligning with schedules and WBS.
• Develop and execute detailed procurement plans, package strategies and risk mitigation actions.
• Manage RFx processes (RFI, RFQ, RFP), evaluate technical and commercial bids, and recommend supplier awards.
• Negotiate contracts to achieve competitive pricing, cost savings and optimal total cost of ownership.
• Onboard, qualify and ensure SAP readiness of suppliers; monitor performance on quality, cost, delivery, compliance and safety.
• Administer purchase orders, contracts and change control; handle claims, delays, non‑conformances and liquidated damages.
• Collaborate with engineering, quality, logistics, finance and legal to resolve issues, coordinate expediting and manage Incoterms.

Required profile

• Proven experience in project‑focused procurement within engineering or construction environments.
• Strong understanding of procurement life‑cycle, risk management and contract administration.
• Demonstrated ability to lead supplier negotiations and manage cross‑functional stakeholder relationships.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills to support bid‑winning activities and project execution.
