Sales Manager - Construction Machinery

About the role

The company is seeking a dynamic Sales Manager to lead the construction machinery business across Algeria. You will be responsible for driving revenue growth, building strong client relationships, and ensuring the profitability of the regional sales operation.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute sales strategies throughout Algeria.
• Identify, approach, and negotiate with potential clients, managing contract discussions and closures.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual sales forecasts and monitor performance against targets.
• Conduct regular market and customer visits to uncover new opportunities and strengthen relationships.
• Analyze sales performance, KPIs, and propose corrective actions.
• Collect market intelligence, including competitor activity, pricing trends, and customer insights.
• Perform ongoing market and competitor research to support business planning.
• Manage accounts receivable and invoicing to ensure timely cash flow.
• Own regional sales profitability and achieve or exceed annual targets.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher.
• 3‑5 years of sales experience in Algeria, preferably in the construction machinery sector.
• Strong knowledge of the Algerian market; experience in other North‑African countries is a plus.
• Fluent in English and French.
• Prior experience with reputable construction machinery companies is preferred.
