Security and Loss Prevention Agent

About the role

The Security and Loss Prevention Agent ensures the safety of guests, employees, and assets at Le Méridien Oran Hotel. Working full‑time on‑site, you will patrol the property, monitor security systems, and respond swiftly to emergencies.

Key responsibilities

• Patrol all areas of the hotel and assist guests with room access.
• Monitor CCTV, perimeter alarms, duress alarms, and fire‑life‑safety systems.
• Lock entrances, conduct daily hazard inspections, and respond to accidents with first aid/CPR or EMS coordination.
• Defuse guest or employee disturbances, escort unwelcome persons, and call for external assistance when needed.
• Complete incident reports, shift summaries, and loss‑prevention documentation while maintaining confidentiality.
• Investigate incidents, gather evidence, and interview relevant parties.
• Support guests, including individuals with disabilities, and uphold hospitality standards.

Required profile

• Adherence to company policies, safety training, and uniform standards.
• Ability to stand, walk, or sit for extended periods and lift up to 50 lb unaided (75 lb with assistance).
• Strong communication skills, professional appearance, and respect for confidentiality.
• Physical stamina to respond quickly to incidents and move at required speeds.
