Security Guard

About the role

This full‑time, on‑site position is for a Security Guard based in Algiers. The guard will protect designated premises, ensure the safety of staff and visitors, and act as the first line of response to any security incident.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor surveillance cameras and alarm systems continuously.
• Conduct regular patrols of the site, checking for hazards and unauthorized access.
• Manage access control, verifying credentials of visitors, contractors and employees.
• Respond promptly to security threats, emergencies and incidents, following established protocols.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external authorities as needed.
• Maintain accurate logs and reports of incidents, patrols and visitor entries.

Required profile

• Proven experience in physical, personnel or private security is preferred.
• Strong interpersonal abilities and conflict‑resolution skills.
• Excellent customer service orientation when interacting with visitors and staff.
• Ability to stay alert, proactive and vigilant at all times.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends and holidays.

Required skills

• Knowledge of physical security procedures and access‑control systems.
• Basic understanding of emergency response and first‑aid practices.
