Senior Procurement Engineer

About the role

The Senior Procurement Engineer leads the acquisition of technical goods and services required for operational projects. You will evaluate suppliers, negotiate contracts, and ensure timely delivery of quality materials while supporting project cost and quality targets.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with project objectives and budget constraints.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to define specifications and procurement needs.
• Identify, assess, and qualify potential suppliers through market research and supplier evaluations.
• Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing to achieve cost savings and guarantee quality.
• Review technical specifications and drawings to confirm compliance with engineering standards.
• Manage the end‑to‑end procurement process, from requisition to delivery, including purchase order issuance, shipment tracking, and issue resolution.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
• Minimum of 5 years of procurement experience in an engineering or industrial environment.
• Proven ability to work with cross‑functional teams and manage complex supplier relationships.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ERP systems, preferably SAP.
