Senior Sales Engineer – Yokogawa Products & EPC

About the role

Yokogawa is seeking a Senior Sales Engineer to lead front‑end sales activities for its instrumentation products and solutions across the Algeria and Tunisia markets. The role involves managing the full sales cycle from opportunity identification to quotation submission, while building strong technical and commercial relationships with EPCs and key industrial customers.

Key responsibilities

• Lead front‑end sales for the PCI (Field Instruments) business, defining account plans and driving market penetration.
• Identify, qualify and develop new business opportunities with EPCs, end‑users and industrial clients, acting as the main point of contact from opportunity to order booking.
• Coordinate with proposal, engineering, procurement and operations teams to deliver competitive offers and ensure smooth handover to project execution.
• Prepare sales forecasts, pipelines and reports, and ensure accurate CRM updates.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Instrumentation, Control Systems, Automation or Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in automation, preferably instrumentation project sales (pressure, level, temperature, flow, liquid & gas analyzers) and EPC business development.
• Proven track record of managing EPC relationships and winning projects in the Algerian market.
• Willingness to travel up to 40 % of the time to client sites.

Required skills

• Strong technical knowledge of instrumentation devices (pressure, level, temperature, flow, liquid & gas analyzers).
• Experience with sales tools and CRM systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Fluent in Arabic, French and English (written and verbal).
