Senior Technician - Commissioning

About the role

The Senior Technician – Commissioning will lead on‑site installation, connection and tuning of diverse equipment for our clients. You will ensure all commissioning activities are performed safely, efficiently and to the required performance standards.

Key responsibilities

• Install, connect and tune equipment at multiple client locations.
• Implement modifications, enhancements and commission new systems.
• Maintain tool and test‑equipment records, ensure calibration and availability.
• Lead a team of technicians and coordinate with contractors to meet performance standards.
• Conduct commissioning‑related testing, SAT panel energisation and functional testing.
• Ensure compliance with HSSE policies, PPE requirements and zero‑incident targets.
• Prepare and follow detailed commissioning procedures and tool packages.

Required profile

• Senior‑level experience in field commissioning and equipment installation.
• Proven ability to lead technicians and manage subcontractor teams.
• Strong understanding of HSSE standards and safety‑first mindset.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills for electrical and instrumentation faults.

Required skills

• Installation and commissioning of industrial equipment.
• Reading electrical documents (single‑line diagrams, schematics, relay settings, earthing layouts).
• Instrument calibration (level, pressure, flow transmitters, fire/gas detectors, analyzers, pneumatic and motorised valves).
• Troubleshooting electrical circuits and fault remediation.
• SAT panel testing, energisation and functional verification.
• Control systems knowledge (SMCC, SCADA, RTU) and serial communication protocols (Modbus, TCP/IP).
• Tool management and PPE compliance.
