Station Supervisor

About the role

Swissport Algeria is looking for an experienced Station Supervisor to lead ground handling operations at Setif Airport. You will ensure safe, efficient and customer‑focused services while coordinating with airlines and airport authorities.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily ground handling activities to meet safety, quality and on‑time performance standards.
• Lead, coach and develop operational teams, ensuring compliance with company procedures and airline requirements.
• Coordinate with airlines, airport authorities and internal stakeholders to guarantee seamless turnaround operations.
• Monitor operational performance, resolve issues proactively and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain full compliance with safety, security and operational regulations.
• Utilise the Altea DCS system for flight and resource management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Aviation, Management, Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in ground handling operations.
• At least 3 years in a supervisory or leadership role, including experience as a Turnaround Coordinator or Ground Dispatcher.
• Experience in passenger services and knowledge of load control procedures.
• Fluency in English, French and Arabic.
• Strong decision‑making, problem‑solving and communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the Altea DCS system.
• Knowledge of load control procedures and airport operations.
• Advanced use of Microsoft Office applications.
