Steward – Hotel Utility Cleaner

About the role

Join the hospitality team at Le Méridien Oran as a Steward, providing essential cleaning support across the hotel’s kitchen, food‑and‑beverage, and laundry areas. You will ensure guests enjoy spotless dining ware, fresh linens, and a clean environment.

Key responsibilities

• Clean and maintain kitchen, dining, and laundry areas, following hotel standards.
• Operate dishwashing machines, hand‑wash stations, linen washers and dryers safely.
• Transport dishware, utensils, and linens throughout the property.
• Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects up to 50 lb without assistance.
• Stand, walk, or sit for extended periods and perform overhead and low‑reach tasks.
• Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions to supervisors.

Required profile

• No high‑school diploma or prior experience required.
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, twisting, and stooping.
• Commitment to safety, company policies, and professional appearance.
• Willingness to work full‑time on‑site and collaborate with other departments.

Required skills

• Operation of dishwashing machines.
• Use of hand‑wash stations.
• Operation of linen washers and dryers.
