Technical Professional – Baroid Drilling Fluids

About the role

Halliburton is seeking a Technical Professional to lead the financial and technical success of Baroid drilling fluids, completion fluids, and Surface Solutions projects in Algeria. The role combines project planning, client support, and on‑site technical expertise within an office‑based environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage all phases of Baroid project planning and execution, ensuring technical and financial performance.
• Provide day‑to‑day technical support and maintain communication with client counterparts.
• Develop and implement system recommendations, work‑process procedures, and wellbore management practices.
• Supervise Field Service Representatives or Service Supervisors assigned to projects.
• Oversee post‑well audit processes and deliver comprehensive wellbore construction information to clients.
• Train and mentor technical professionals, field service staff, and service supervisors.

Required profile

• High school diploma required; undergraduate degree preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in rig‑site drilling fluids, completion fluids, or Surface Solutions management.
• Proven ability to independently solve technical problems and develop wellbore and waste‑management procedures.
• Experience with solids‑control equipment configuration and post‑well audit completion.
• Familiarity with Halliburton SAP purchase‑order system.
