Technical Sales Manager – FR & Gloves

About the role

Portwest is seeking a Technical Sales Manager to lead the growth of its gloves and flame‑resistant (FR) product lines across Algeria. Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager, you will combine technical product expertise with a customer‑facing approach to expand market share among distributors and end‑users.

Key responsibilities

• Drive sales of gloves and FR products by developing and executing a regional market plan.
• Identify and nurture opportunities at both distributor and end‑user levels.
• Provide technical advice and support to distributors, prospects, and end‑users.
• Join distributors on joint sales calls to demonstrate product benefits.
• Deliver technical training on gloves and FR products both digitally and in‑person.
• Train internal sales teams and other stakeholders on product features.
• Collaborate with product and marketing teams to create sales content and address product gaps.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience selling gloves or FR products.
• Background in technical sales, preferably representing a distributor.
• Clean driving licence and willingness to travel within the region.
• Experience in importing goods.
• Legal right to live and work in Algeria.

Required skills

• Technical knowledge of protective gloves.
• Technical knowledge of flame‑resistant (FR) products.
